Rotational Micro-motion Modulated Jam- Ming for Countering Isar Based on Intermit- Tent Sampling Repeater

چکیده
The intermittent sampling repeater jamming (ISRJ) can only produce fake point scatterers in the down-range, while the timevarying frequency induced by rotational micro-motion dynamics blurs the image in the cross-range. This paper focuses on the combination of the above two methods to counter the inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR). Based on the signal models of coherent ISAR signal processing, principles of the jamming are derived. The key jamming parameters and the selection criteria are determined by two steps. Finally, the validity of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated using the numeric simulations and simulations based on the measured data.

Nonparametric Rotational Motion Compensation Technique for High-Resolution ISAR Imaging via Golden Section Search
A novel rotational motion compensation algorithm for high-resolution inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging based on golden section search (GSS) method is presented. This paper focuses on the migration through cross-range resolution cells (MTCRRC) compensation, which requires rotation angle and center as priori information. The method performs in a nonparametric way and uses entropy cr...

متن کاملAn Analysis of ISAR Image Distortion Based on the Phase Modulation Effect
Distortion in the ISAR image of a target is a result of nonuniform rotational motion of the target during the imaging period. In many of the measured ISAR images from moving targets, such as those from in-flight aircraft, the distortion can be quite severe. Often, the image integration time is only a few seconds in duration and the target’s rotational displacement is only a few degrees. The con...

Radar echo of ballistic midcourse target contains unique motion information of the target, which can provide important evidence for target recognition. A wideband radar echo simulation model for midcourse precessional target is developed, where the micro-motion model, electromagnetic scattering calculation and linear frequency modulated (LFM) radar signal model are integrated. Firstly, the posi...
